Priority-Driven Self-Optimizing Power Control Scheme for Interlinking Converters of Hybrid AC/DC Microgrid Clusters in Decentralized Manner

Hybrid ac/dc microgrid clusters are key building blocks of smart grid to support sustainable and resilient urban power systems. Practically, in networked clusters, the subgrid load-priorities quality requirements for different areas vary significantly. In order realize optimal exchanges among this article proposes a decentralized self-optimizing control scheme interlinking converters (ILCs). First, priority-driven exchange model ILCs is built that fully considers priorities capacities subgrids. The whole optimization objective minimize total dc-voltage/ac-frequency state deviations Second, flow control, an optimal-oriented quasi-droop strategy introduced. Consequently, as each only monitors local ac-side frequency dc-side voltage signals, wide-area achieved manner without any communication link. Thus, proposed algorithm has features decreased cost, increased scalability, reduced geographic restrictions high resilience robustness terms faults. Finally, method validated by three cases hardware-in-loop environment.
